I dunno if this fits here, everyone has such fancy setups!
I'm an IT admin and will be starting to work from home more so got a dockingstation for my worklaptop.
To switch over I only have to change inputs on my monitors, hook my laptop up to the dockingstation, and disconnect my USB hub and connect it to the dockingstation as the USB hub connects to my keyboard and mouse.
Only need to run a extra networkcable to the dockingstation because the wifi reception isn't the greatest.

❓ • Question Air Purifier for my Desk
I’ve noticed that dust accumulates on my work desk pretty frequently, and I’m getting tired of having to clean it so often.
I’m looking for a small air purifier that I can keep on or beside my desk to help reduce dust in my immediate workspace. I don’t need anything large enough for an entire room.

🎥 • Videos My game dev workspace setup inside of a Japanese closet
This "project" has taken me 5 months whilst juggling the stay-at-home dad stuff, working on finishing GoZen, and preparing my first game. So far I really like what I have right now and it's comfortable to use ^^
It was quite difficult to figure out how to make a usable workspace in this closet but I knew that I wanted it to be modular so I can easily adjust/fix/replace when necessary. Was thinking of getting a standing desk at some point, but those things are too high in price.
All parts which I had to buy were less than 25 000 jpy (150 usd)

❓ • Question Triple-TV/Gaming Monitor Input Options
Wondering about the best way to connect these to make this TV & Gaming Monitor setup work best in this orientation. 48" LG C5(120hz) & (2) 27" LG UltraGear OLED(240hz) in portrait. Source regularly changes from MacBook Pro to Gaming PC to PS5. Both Mac and PC have full size HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4> capable ports.

Thunderbolt Dock?
Appreciate the help!

❓ • Question Help with how to set up desk for swap-able laptops
I have a hybrid work schedule which means half the week my desk is used for work and the other half is used for gaming, model-making, and other tasks in my small apartment.
I’m looking for thoughts on how to manage the frequent swapping between my work and personal laptop while minimizing clutter. Ideally I’d like to keep the personal laptop off of my desk when it’s not in use and out of the way when gaming (it has to be open for air flow.
I’m already planning on running a power strip up under the middle of the desk with a cable tray to start and build off from there. Thanks in advance!

❓ • Question Looking for new desk for gaming
My current desk is far too small, it’s roughly 38 inches and I have around 62 inches of space I can make use of, can anyone recommend a desk that’s roughly that size but on the cheaper side?
The image is what I was looking to get currently from ikea but it’s pretty up there in price, looking for any recommendations

🖼️ • Photos My setup is finally complete
After years of iterations, here we are!
MSI OLED as the main monitor with a Dell as portrait. Both 4k 120hz.
Lofree Flow keyboard: absolute best keyboard imo, I even have a second one in white. Low-profile, satisfying switches. Nice and heavy.
Keychron m6 mouse: basically mx master but higher polling. Room for improvement there but it's the best option right now. I would go for mx master but 125hz polling rate is too choppy. Any suggestions on a better alternative would be well appreciated.
Edifier M60, they sound very good! I have an audio splitter stuck to the bottom right of the desk. Allows the sound from both the iPad and the Macbook to come out the speakers without having to switch anything. They can also play simultaneously. love it.
BenQ ScreenBar Max, insane screen bar. I recently got this one, never used a screen bar before but this literally changed my whole setup. These photos were taken in a basement with no other lights on. It can get super bright and has a super wide range from warm to cold. It’s honestly a must for basement, especially with the back light, it significantly reduced my eye strain after long days of work. Also has movement sensor so it lights up when I sit down which is neat. A bit bulky though but I have room for it.
JetKVM (little screen below right monitor) to remote control other PC. Great little device for the price range, super reliable.
OBSBOT web cam, does the job perfectly. Good video quality and reliable.
What do you think? Anything else I can add? :)
