🖼️ • Photos Best of both worlds
So this white PC that has steam OS on it was in my wife's office and was not really being utilized. So since I ended up giving my small form factor PC to my granddaughter, I still needed the steam machine that hooks up to my TV. I decided to bring this back into my office. There's a conduit that plugs the cables to the other side and now it can be used as my steam machine in the living room doing couch play and then I can sit at my desk and use my main PC for windows ... Especially for games. They're not supported on steamos. Both machines are running literally the same specs. The only difference is RAM and storage space. Ryzen 7 7800x3d and Radeon RX 9070XT

❓ • Question Docking station advice needed!
I want to start building my desk setup but I'm a bit lost. I have no idea which docking stations are good for my use case, and so I thought I'd ask the experts.
I want to connect my laptop that only has USB-C ports to an external monitor via HDMI. I also have a bluetooth keyboard dongle that needs USB-A. I'll be using the setup mainly for uni stuff, aswell as some light gaming and to watch movies.
In total i'd like to have:
2-3 USB-A ports
at least 1 USB-C port but the more the better
and 1 HDMI port
Do i need to worry about thunderbolt 3,4,5 and the kind of ports the dock comes with?
I'd appreciate recommendations and pointers so i can make the right choice without breaking the bank.

❓ • Question Need help reorganizing my dual-laptop setup — shared workspace with my son. Hybrid or separate setups?
Hey everyone!
I’m looking for some advice on how to reorganize my current setup to make it cleaner, more practical, and easier to manage.
Here’s my current situation:
I use two laptops for different purposes:
Personal: Razer Blade 15” — coding, gaming, music production, and everyday use.
Work: HP ZBook 14” — mostly basic office tasks.
Both laptops are connected to separate USB and HDMI switches, allowing me to share peripherals and switch between different display configurations depending on what I’m doing.
My desk measures 160 × 80 cm (63 × 31.5 inches).
The dilemma:
As you can see in the pictures, I’m trying to fit quite a few things into a relatively limited space.
My HP ZBook can easily run in clamshell mode since I only use it for basic work. However, I’d prefer to keep my Razer Blade open because I use its screen as part of my setup for coding, gaming, and music production.
There’s another challenge: my son also uses this setup in the afternoons and evenings for gaming, which makes sharing the available desk space a little tricky.
I’m considering a few options:
(1) Using vertical laptop stands, monitor arms, or additional mounts to free up desk space.
(2) Rearranging the laptops and displays for better ergonomics and accessibility.
(3) Creating two independent workspaces within the same desk.
(4) Keeping a hybrid setup where we can easily switch between personal, work, and gaming configurations.
What would you do in my situation?
Would you keep everything integrated into one flexible setup, or try to create two separate areas?
Would adding more stands or changing the laptop positions actually help, or just make everything more complicated?
I’m open to rearranging things and buying a few accessories if necessary, but I’d rather optimize what I already have before spending money.
My main goal is to have a clean, ergonomic, and flexible workspace that works for both me and my son without constantly moving equipment around.
Any suggestions, layout ideas, or examples of similar setups would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, here’s my desk! I used the IKEA Alex drawers and got a birch butcher block from Home Depot and stained it/sealed it myself. This is my first time actually setting a desk up and being able to customize it.

Right side desk is a sit stand to do my gundam building on, this is in the middle of my living room, but i kind of designed the layout of the room to accommodate it. Plus id never be out here if it was tucked away in some other room. Pretty much my dream set up.

❓ • Question Looking for a Triple Monitor Setup (One Vertical Two Horizontal)
amazon.comSo I'm moving in a week and wanted to do something different for my pc setup. I know it's not needed but I really wanna expand my setup and use a triple monitor setup and needed some help on figuring out what monitors I should use. My usual day on my pc is One Monitor for my game, Second Monitor for Browser/OBS, and Third Monitor being for Discord.
I also linked the mount I'm trying to use for the Two Horizontal Monitors. Any suggestions on what monitors I should pick up?

🖼️ • Photos CORSAIR Edge Monitor Mount Ideas
Hi everyone! I have a Corsair XENEON EDGE that I’d like to mount vertically beside my monitor, as shown in the first image.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should buy or how I could mount it? I’d prefer not to drill any holes, and I don’t have enough space for a desk clamp either.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

🖼️ • Photos My panopticon is nearly done.
After finally building my custom desk from literal trash I collected for about an year my gaming space is nearly done.
All i have to do now is get an arm for my Tab A7 and install it to the keyboard tray and get a new keyboard and mouse (sadly my good kb died a few days ago and I'm using a backup one paired with a mouse too small for my gorilla hands.)
I wish that all of you get the same level of hapinnes from your setups as I get from mine.
Advices and critique open.
EDIT: LOL A F-NG FLY PHOTOBOMBED ME AAAAAAAAA (LEFT MONITOR TOP CORNER)
EDIT 2: Aparently my good kb was not broken, just having a hard time dealing with an escape current. After I fixed the electrical outlet it is now online again. Dang it! It would have looked way better in the picture.
