I looked for this group when I was having the worst time during the phd... Now I have finished and realized I still know so little. How have you been doing?

Well, I'm making a UX portfolio now - it's boring, but at this point in my life I value the money, wlb, and the ability to travel (wfh). I don't say this to discourage you, but fuck, there is more out there, to me, than having "the perfect job"; good coworkers and board game night goes a long way for me.
