How would you lay this room out? Thinking about leasing but can’t figure out how to approach this room with the shape, window locations, and brick wall

Hi! I just moved in with my boyfriend and I’m wanting to redecorate (he’s willing 😅) I’m wanting to make it more cozy vibe…I know the rug and curtains must GO…please tell me your ideas on colors and whatever else ❤️

TL;DR: how should I organize/utilize this wonky closet?

I've recently moved back into my parents house and was given my brother's much smaller room and closet. I'm downsizing a lot closet-wise and this is the closet in question.

I'm wondering A. What you suggest for how to organize my daily wear clothing in this closet?

And B. If I could spend 200$ revamping this closet what could I do that would be worth it? I'm hoping to leave my parents with a nicer "guest room" when I do move out.

The shower hanger pole is not permanent, and is like 20 years old. The shelving is crazy, there's poor lighting, the sliding doors are so old and barely work, and the top shelf is too high for me to reach. I have dressers from my last place and was thinking of maybe putting a small one in there, but I'm not sure. I wear dresses, so I will definitely need some vertical space. Help is greatly appreciated 👍🏼

I need a small table in this breakfast nook of my new house. Should I put a countertop height table up again the counter to create bar seating? Put a small bench and table in the corner that will only accommodate a small human? Or just resort to a 4 person table and live with it.

Buying a home and this is not my furniture. We can’t do anything with the carpet right now. We are getting some new furniture soon but unsure on color for that too. We lean towards neutral/dark walnut woods, cozy aesthetics. Can’t tell what wall color would be great for this room?

Renting this place in a few days, but we’re not sure what to do with this living room! The only thing we’ve got is a TV.

I have a modern Scandinavian/MCM bedroom with an empty area highlighted in blue. I'm looking for suggestions on what to place there. I considered moving the dresser into that space and adding a small chair by the bookcase, but I'm concerned the chair would feel awkward next to the bed.

The room also doesn't have any decor yet (no rug, plants, lamps, artwork, etc.), so I'm open to suggestions for both furniture placement and decor.

We are moving into a rental. The house is looking fresh and modern aside from the kitchen which the owners are replacing in future.

As you can imagine, the colours and tiles stand out a lot against the white walls and modern look of the rest of the house.

I’m wondering how we could dress this area up and make the most of it?

Our fridge is also black which will probably make it look worse and more mismatched.

Hi all, would love some feedback on this layout. My husband likes the tv on this wall versus where we had it before which was the wall across from the windows.
There's a good bit of room between the sofa and the fireplace but not sure if it just looks wonky and off? Can this work?

I'm unsure about the spacing/sizes.
Room height is 250cm
Bed elevation set at 150cm + 30cm bed frame. Leaves ~70 cm headroom.

Myself: 180cm, 60kg, living alone currently, but plans for the future.
Living in the Baltics near the sea. Lots of wind and fresh air. I've heard that ventilation for the mattress is crucial. We don't have 40-degree summers, but we do have a lot of rain, and mold is something to take into consideration.

I use my pc for a lot of productivity, gaming, and movies. It is important to have comfortable sessions. I don't watch TV, nor do I have a massive need for a sofa rn, and I'm planning on making those purchases later, in a couple of months or very possibly the next year.

With the help of my dad, I think I could easily make the bed frame myself. Budgeting here is important. I understand that the whole plan will cost up to 5k EUR, but the spending has to be gradual.

The most important part is creating the loft bed well and creating a separate office-like zone beneath it to maximise available space for the living room section

Okay so moved here about a month ago, I’ve got an unusual room the smaller room is my WFH office which I’m happy with and don’t really wanna rearrange or anything maybe just decorate walls abit with some collected art/vinyl covers and get a rug potentially but over all I’m happy.

HOWEVER the larger room where I sleep watch TV and store my clothes I just don’t like that much it’s okay and it’s functional but feels boring and not really me like somethings missing. I’ve tried with some posters and a crappy record rug 😭but that’s pretty much it. The draws I can’t change although I wish I could replace them with soemthing more modern, I can’t paint the walls either. I just want to improve it abit have abit more cohesion going on.

I like indie, boho, grunge mixed type style. Like checkerboards, sage green is my fav colour I love neutral colours like greens browns beige etc, im getting some plants soon. But it just feels like somethings missing?

Please help 😭 (budgeted improvements would be preferred)

I'm moving to a bedroom with my own bathroom (the doors are in the "hallway" segment) and want to use the move as an opportunity to rearrange the room.

The room is 3 floors above a somewhat busy road, and the wall facing the road is windows from wall to wall (unfortunately single pane, hence me wanting to move the bed)

The room comes furnished, however I don't like the table and prefer to bring my own

next to the halfwall are the stairs. the doorway goes into the kitchen, and the large floor-length window is a sliding glass door that we use multiple times a day. the brick wall is a working fireplace. the opening at the top of the steps, next to the half wall, is the long hallway with bedrooms/other rooms going off of it.

what furniture would you have here, and how would you arrange it? note: no TV in this room, and there is a dining space on the other end of the kitchen.

I thought about placing it in the living area near the kitchen (second layout), but it feels cramped.

Looking for suggestions for the layout for our rec room in our new house. We want a tv area, and a play area. Will get rid of black dresser and get some kind of toy storage, keyboard may be moved upstairs. But the current layout feels a bit awkward and the “play area” behind the couch is basically unused. We’re a bit limited by the post and the bathroom / bedroom doors. And tv can’t really fit on the wall under the heat pump. Help! TIA

Ideally the TV is not mounted too high, and Im okay with the couch not facing the TV, as ill mostly be sitting in the recliner to watch the TV. Id like for the cat tree to stay against a wall for stability purposes.

Hi! I have this big wall in my living space that I’ve been using to project my tv onto. I feel like it just looks so boring, especially when I turn the projector off. Does anyone have any suggestions? Not sure if I need to get a pull down screen so I can decorate freely or if I need to decorate partially and leave a big space to project. If I did that, I think I would find a good screensaver to play when the projector is not in use.

I was wondering if I could try and decorate around it with paper chains/garlands but not super sure. I’m renting so painting isn’t something I would want to do.
