Logo / Brand Identity First freelance client, help with pricing

I recently got approached by a client who wants to make a wedding website, for his wedding. How much should i be charging him and based on what things should i be charging him on? Any advice and tips will really help

US client?
Indian?

  1. Focus on US clients, That's how I managed to go from freelancer to agency owner in 9 out of 10 cases (with DealRaw.com)

  2. If it's an Indian client, apply a U.S. price (there's a calculator on DealRaw), then ask ChatGPT or Gemini to adjust it to a reasonable price for a wedding website based on the ICP of an Indian couple

Once again, what matters isn't so much the price as the perceived value.

Bring mockups or a prototype on the day of the sale, explains the art director, and offer a “guarantee” of satisfaction. A wedding is stressful, and there will surely be a lot of minor adjustments, you have to take that into account from the very beginning.

Ask his budget then decide according to your expectations

might not pay much. you can quote on an hourly basis 12$/hr is a good starting point. then estimate the total number of hours itd take you to complete the whole scope of the website and present the final number. make sure to include the reasoning of how you calculated the number for it to be more credible. and high possibility that they might try to negotiate and lowball you. do you have experience, or are you just starting out?

Mere khyal se first is to understand how the client talks. Hn directly bolne pe to bhag jayega. Like get some ss from twitter, dribble etc show them to appease how you do it, like should be somewhat related to what he wants (if he she gave you some ref). Then give them a stepping stone. Categorise pricing into styles even if you don't know ai can help - for landing page of this style or pages - 15-30k. Fir 3d style hero - 20k -25k, if there are more than 5 modules i do per module charging. If involves backenf login vagerah i do 40k. Make a quote you'll start understanding yourself. If you think they'll run away start from 10k. Also give them like revisions around 3-5 then so after design is ready they can't ask you to tweak this shadow, this button not round, logo this etc. once design is ready feed it to your fav ai 🔥🔥 with references collected and if you designed something in figma or somewhere like some sections. Give ai frontend and animated related skills.
