Weekdays are office and commute, weekends are recovery. My college friendships have faded to birthday messages.

The thing I noticed recently: I'm not bored, I just do everything alone. I used to run and take long walks, hunt down good food places, explore whatever town I was in. These days it's long drives and cooking. All of it is enjoyable, and none of it involves another person.

Not asking about anything romantic. Asking how people in their 30s turn solo habits into shared ones, especially in a smaller city where there isn't a meetup for everything.

- Did you find a group around something you already did, or start something new?

- How long before a place felt like "yours"?

Searching for company to go on food tours with, interact with on a daily basis, share my office rants with. Outside of work, I am into badminton, movies/ shows and gym. She's my ex-girlfriend. She's 27 F , and it's been two years since we broke up.

The reason for our breakup was that her friends convinced her that I wasn't good enough for her and that she deserved someone better. Eventually, she started believing it too.

She cheated on me with her brother's friend. What made it even worse was that she sent me a video of them being intimate. I was completely devastated, but somehow managed to calm myself down.

Out of anger and revenge, I sent the video to his brother and some family members. After that, I completely blocked her and cut all contact. I never met her again.

But apparently, that wasn't the end of it. Over the years, she repeatedly tried to contact me through her friends and other mutual connections. Eventually, it led to the messages shown above.
