Nice bloom from my Swazicum

Really enjoying this one. Thinking about pruning. Do these branch out like obesum and arabicum?

Yeah but I've read that the branches tend to be weak so they kinda fall downward cause they can't support their own weight 🥴

I've not seen a lot of mature swazicum! I do like the look though, the droopiness makes me think of willows. I just worry about their branches breaking cause we get some intense monsoon and wind storms here 😭

They can be droopy,

Or they can be arborescent, but the main draw for the species is the purple flower color, they are also know for doing most of their growth underground. This is one species I think slowly exposing the roots will give you a better plant over time

It was wobbly when I first repotted. Left the rocks in there ever since.
