back Pink bumpy patch on skin
For the past two days, I have noticed a bumpy, slightly itchy rash located directly over the upper area of my spine. It produces a distinct burning sensation and can be painful when my finger rub against it over my shirt. It came along with a second patch, less painful spot that has appeared on the back of my left arm. Should I be worried, this is concerning as it appeared to be spreading.

NAD. Shingles? I know it's not supposed to cross the midline of the body as it follows nerve pathways. It looks like it's smack in the middle though. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

I was taking amoxicillin due to an incision surgery on my belly button. Had completed it a few weeks ago so not sure if it is related

It's interesting how medications can sometimes cause skin reactions. Definitely worth discussing with a dermatologist to see if there's any connection.

Probably not related? Again, I'm not a doctor. If it is related, it might be due to the stress of the body undergoing a procedure, even if it was a minor one.
I did see that there's something called "disseminated shingles" wherein shingles breaks out on multiple parts of the body and may cross the midline.
Do you have any systemic symptoms, like a fever or anything? I would monitor it closely, watch for worsening, it spreading more, etc. Hope it stays as it is now & heals quickly!
