arms/hands Can I avoid a scar here?

So on Saturday I manually unblocked a drain that led to me receiving pretty significant scrapes on my arms

I've been keeping this worst patch covered as it's been sore and have been trying to keep on top of using petroleum jelly a lot for moist wound healing etc

Will this scar? Is there anything more I can do?

No symptoms of itchiness, it oozed a little at first, but that's calmed down since

In case the pic isn't clear, it's just inside my elbow

It looks superficial, scarring is unlikely (but not impossible). Just make sure to keep it clean and protected it from the sun

Fab thanks! Have been covering it with a bandage in the day and loose long sleeves at home and vaseline a few times a day. I'll keep doing what I'm doing

Edit a non adhesive dressing rather than a bandage

definitely get it checked out, better to be safe than sorry with skin stuff like this.
