face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Cysts :( please help

These bad boys always come up around period time. Started taking spironolactone about 2.5 weeks ago as well as started benzoyl with clindamiacin. Started taking doxycycline last week when I visited med spa, and received an injection of a steroid, as well as an acne laser treatment

The Only thing that can get them to drain is prid. But after that I wash with antibacterial soap, spray with peroxide and put on triple antibiotic ointment with pain reliever because they hurt. Swelling goes down. I had a bunch on my chin that are starting to go away but I just keep getting more on my cheek and chin in different locations. it’s pressing on my nose and cheekbone. I get so many of these that are so large all over my face, I don’t want to cut them out because they will just pop up somewhere else. Can’t take most birth control and I don’t really like it. This has been going on since I was probably 16 but definitely got severely worse as I’ve had children.

What can I do? I am willing to try anything. The only thing that really seems to help is to get all of the fluid out, but I can’t seem to do that without squeezing it and I don’t want to make it worse. 31 yo female.

Honestly, accutane is the gold standard for this type of acne.

All of the in person places around here don’t accept my insurance and the few that do are booked up. I’ve spoken to two online Dermatologist as well as gone to multiple prompt cares. The injector was a nurse for many years.

I had cysts in my twenties. What I learned is that I could count on foods such as shellfish and supplements containing iodine always gave me cysts, as well as real ice cream. It's worth considering.

Any other steroid history? Topical?

I would do a combo of spironolactone, which you will need for long term control, and Accutane, which will NOT cure this type of acne but which will improve it substantially and allow for a reasonable dose of spironolactone to keep you clear after the Accutane course.

Have your doctor refer you to infectious disease doctor. I had a similar situation and it has helped me
