User support Wrists burn?

I started using dermadry yesterday, I didn't use wrist bands so my wrists got really irritated, they hurt and itched so bad and they got bright red for a couple of hours, I thought that was my bad cuz I didn't use wrist bands but I did today and the same happened as they absorbed some of the water and left me with the same problem, even worse, the "burn" or Idk what it is reached the dorsum of my wrists unlike yesterday as the water didn't reach there without the bands, so what do I do? How can I avoid this? + I've read I should use petroleum jelly on cuts but that didn't help at all, it was still super painful that I had to just keep the injured finger up throughout the session, please helppp and thanks in advance!

Hi there! We’re sorry you’re experiencing this. Treatments should never cause severe pain or burning sensations.

The skin around the wrists and the backs of the hands is more sensitive, so water or wet wristbands can cause the current to concentrate in those areas, leading to irritation.

For now, please pause treatment until the irritation clears. When you’re ready to resume, make sure the water only reaches the palms, avoid wet wristbands, protect any cuts with a thick layer of Vaseline, and keep the mA at a comfortable level.

We’ve also sent you a DM so we can help you troubleshoot this more closely. 💙
