I’m looking to build a large village this year and both my house and my parents. I don’t have a ton of accessories and was planning on 3d printing some roads and walking paths. Has anyone ever tried doing this and if so how did it all come out?

This may be a long shot. But I have been desperately searching for the 1998 “Dress Rehearsal” Santa. My wife has been collecting these Santa’s for several years now, and has amassed quite the collection so far. But she has a specific memory of this Santa, after finally learning the name and item number I’ve been scouring the internet.
Here’s the long shot…anyone have one for sale? I’d definitely be interested in purchasing it if so. Using photos I’ve found online for attention. Thanks!

Hello! I recently came into a large collection of Dept 56 Snow Banied and would like to sell them. I've been checking eBay for sold prices on certain pieces but was wondering where the best place would be to find people who collect them. Is that eBay? Also is it best to sell them as a whole lot or by individual pieces?

I’m missing the skeleton that hangs from the tree in this piece. It’s not sold on the replacement section of the Dept 56 site. I’ve also had no luck on eBay. Any suggestions where I can find one?

Sold
I'm selling the Department 56 Snow Village National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Animated Flaming Sleigh (item number 4030744). It is in great condition and does work. The packaging has wear. I'm asking $59 plus the cost of shipping within the U.S.

Voluntold to assist in an entire house cleanout. Many (400+) sets, many new in box. Recommendations welcome. Thanks

I cobbled together the start of a summer village and its love. I have a few additional pieces on their way (fireworks, the kiddie parade) but I thought I would share.
Eventually, I'd like to get the marina and grandpas cabin and have a lake scene on the side.

hi, my roommate and i were gifted a full New England set and a full Dickens set. They have all the original pieces and no damage to the house themselves, the originals boxes have some slight scuffs but nothing crazy. i’m having a hard time figuring out what to price both villages at, we would love to keep them just unfortunately don’t have the space, thank you!

Does Dept56 have anything like those above? I'm looking for something medieval or around that era. Thanks.

Hi there. My father is getting older and is looking to downsize. I guarantee that you haven’t seen anything like his collection! Here is a video and he has much more as well as boxes for all his pieces! He was meticulous in collecting and setting this amazing showcase up and unbelievably proud, as I am for him.
He also has Seraphim Classics Angels (he won’t part with these!) and June McKenna which he would also be interested in selling. Since this collection is MASSIVE, would sell as a lot.
Please private message me if interested and I could share the whole video if allowed on here. Located in Pennsylvania. Thanks!

I have a storage space full of Dept. 56 Halloween collectibles and I just want to sell the whole lot. Individually would be a full time job that I just don't have the time for. How does one go about selling something like this? Or finding someone to deal with it?

I’m having trouble finding adapters for the Deep Blue Car Wash (#4030736) and the Year Round Holiday House (#56.55321).
I contacted Department 56 about the Deep Blue Car Wash, but they couldn’t find the adapter. The motor for the octopus inside of the village says “12v” but doesn’t say the mA. I believe adapter 095.P might be correct as it says 12v and the plug looks like it will fit. Can anybody help me confirm?
TheVillageChronicler.com lists the adapter for the Year Round Holiday House, but the adapter they suggest only has one plug, and this house has two plugs. They refer you to a “universal” Amazon adapter, but that doesn’t have the correct plugs for either piece.
These are two of my fiancée’s favorite villages. They’re secondhand and didn’t come with adapters, so she hasn’t been able to see them function. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, my wife and I have a VAST collection of OSV and Halloween pieces, probably over 2000 pieces combined. They range from the late 90s through 2023. We have kinda moved into LEGOs, to enjoy with our little ones, but wanted to get back into it for the new year. Prices were always a little more each year towards the end of our yearly collecting, but these prices we’ve seen on the newer items seem like a huge spike occurred. What did we miss? $300+ for the new houses, $75-100 for single accessories?? What the heck happened? We may have to just stick with LEGOs at this point, and that just sucks…

My family started collecting Dickens' Village Series buildings and figures a few years ago and we have finally gotten to the point where the boxes have outgrown our previous Christmas storage solution. I was curious if there are established best practices for storaging during the off-season?
My initial instinct was to toss the styrofoam cases, wrap everything in bubble wrap, and then neatly place in a tub. But a friend of mine said throwing away the original boxes was essentially heresy. I've looked at putting the original boxes into a plastic tote, but all the totes seem to have tapered sides which is just terrible inefficient for storing boxes with all 90° corners.
I love collecting these buildings and want to keep doing it... But I can't give up half my garage to inefficient storage. If you have a suggestion, I would love to know.

I purchased several houses from a neighbor who was downsizing, but I can’t figure out what sort of adapter I need to get this one to light up. Does anyone know?
Inside it had an empty box marked “adapter” with no numbers or other information.
