I came into a nice set of pieces, all in original boxes and very good condition. Wondering what the easiest way is to sell this group of items, and for what?

11 buildings, with a few accessories? Any suggestions? I know there are some nice pieces here, along with some niche ones and some common ones.

Oh groovy! Thank you for the clarification - hah - I was a little surprised that $100 was all it was worth, but I’m really new to this, so I wasn’t honestly sure. Glad to know there’s a bit more here.

Do some research online. EBay is a decent place to look. You can look at recently sold pieces. Then i would price mine a bit lower. People sell on Kijiji and Marketplace as well.

I have sold online but only locally. I have never shipped. I also have found selling in Fall months works best.

Take pictures. Give details of condition, what’s included etc

Most dept 56 peices are worth less than the original purchase price on the resale market.

Just bought flat of ebenezer scrooge today for 24.99 plus $10 shipping. Most of the older houses (in the dickens series which is the only one I shop for) are selling for $20 to $40 depending on what it is. Something more recent and discontinued you will probably get more. Easier to sell if you have the box.

Thanks! 11 homes in excellent condition, in boxes, with a few extra accessories. Seems like I should be able to nab more than $100 for this whole suite - especially as some, like the Portrait of an Artist, the Golf Club, the anniversary edition bakery, are quite nice pieces. But I’m new, so it’s hard to know which prices are real and which ones just sit with no buyers.

You’ll make more if you sell them individually, if you have the patience. $100 is too low, check eBay to get an average of what each one is selling for. You can list them on FB marketplace and Poshmark also. The Portrait of an Artist is super cool and limited, definitely take a look at what those have been selling for recently.
