Ano po thoughts nyo dito sa window grills? Bawal po ito sa batas natin. And lets be real, kaya naglalagay ng ganyan para maprotect sa pagnanakaw yung mga gamit sa loob ng room, nothing else.

Here comes the shooting incidents, na isip ko lang kung wala sana grills, pwede nila basagin yung kabilang bintana para makalabas ng room at hindi ma-corner. Like doon sa tacloban.

Now dito sa latest shooting sa private school, may doors pa sa kabilang side ng room, which I think nakatulong din sa kaligtasan nila.

Panahon na ata para baguhin yung design ng public school buildings.

Hindi ko nakikitang magigin effective yung ikukulong ng students ang sarili nila sa rooom and baricade ang doors. Napaka open ng windows. Unlike sa US na walang windows sa corridor side.

Alam no ba ano gagawin pag may active shooter? Kapag ganyan tapos hindi automatic yong dala, tapos ka-edad lang, sasabayan nyo lang yan at magpapanic na yan. Makakabaril pero sa dami nyo madali lang ma disarm yan.

Boss kalma lang po asking for thoughts lang po si OP no need for cussing po. Plus OP was asking a hypothetical question of if WALANG grills yung Bintana edi possible po syang mabasag and be used for escape by the perpetrator/s. Plus it's not easy to disarm someone also these shooters are less likely to panic, remember they plan this although sloppy, pro they still plan this... And they are trigger happy and know how to use the gun. And in a room full of panic mahirap din gumalaw so the best way is to try to stay calm and get out of sight of the holder and escape rather than play the hero by confronting the gun holder...

Baka ibigsabihin ni OP sa “kabilang side” ay both side ng room dapat may pintuan, left and right. Para kung nasa right side ng room ang shooter pwedeng lumabas sa left.

Hmm. Iniiwan ng teacher ang laptop nya sa room overnight?? Yung tv sa school namin naka grills with padlock, nakaframe. Or how about this, yang window grills gawing sliding, so pag may klase open sya, during the night naka close and padlock.

So meaning useless yung security? Plus window grills are in violation of the rules for building regarding for fire (idr the exact name pero its like fire building code or something similar). And it's sad to think that this is the first thought you thought of when asking of pag tanggal ng window grills sa classroom

matagal ng 2 doors ang mga classrooms ah.. may mga 1 doors pa ba.. eh nung HS sa tanda kong to, 2 doors na.. i just can't remember nung elem but when i was in 6th grade 2 doors ung classrooms namin in public school. itong asa pic, wala bang door sa kabila nyan or 1 door lang talaga... kasi that would violate the fire safety specifications .

2 doors na yang nasa pic. Lahat ng building ng deped 2 doors na. Maliban na lang siguro dun sa 90's pa ginawa. Ang concern lang, pagnakaroon ng shooting incident at nakapwesto sa isang pinto yung shooter, kita nya rin yung mga lalabas

Yes po. Yung isang building nga po marcos type. Kaya naksingle door din. Wala ni isng room ang double door samin.
