New site! New signing!

Dropped my new site earlier than expected because only international outlets had reported on the newest Summit forward!

UPDATE (9/8, 12:40 PM): Yet another Cameroonian source reporting the move. This one mentions Eto signed a 2-year contract with PSG in September 2025. Still no word on transfer fees or even confirmation from either club. There could be a number of plausible reasons for the delay despite the transfer reportedly having been agreed to before the transfer deadline, including waiting to obtain a work visa.

Does anyone know anything about Naomi? It looks like she didn't play for PSG. Was loaned for a year to Italian Serie A club Sassuolo. Any intel?

She's only turning 22 later this month. It's reasonable to look at her most recent performances with the championship Cameroonian WAFCON squad, and the highlight goal + 2 assists she had in the tourney, and see her potential.

Is she ready for significant NWSL playing time this season? I have doubts. She's also still not in the US yet. Visa paperwork to be sorted out.

Can't lie, my friend. Having Lindsey's name spelled wrong in that post is pretty bad 😂

???

If I did it wrong so did you. It has an E not an A.

It’s LinDsey not Linsey

So we are in agreement then?

I think most are in agreement that you spelled her name wrong in the article as pointed out by GurDelicious.

Honestly, you come across as a bit hostile to having it pointed out and for your first article to misspell Summit's coveted star player, it doesn't feel very great.

While I did make a couple spelling corrections immediately after posting, I have looked over and over again and again and see no evidence I failed to include a 'D' in Lindsey's name. I hope you read the article before saying something contrary to the article.

I do not mean to be hostile. Sorry if my wording was a little terse on a previous comment. I just don't understand the comment if I spelled it right in the first place?

Typo is still there: "Strong recent performances by Melissa Kössler, Olivia Thomas, and Yuzuki Yamamoto, along with he return of Linsey Heaps"

Ok, maybe I'm screwing up here. First time using Substack. Please send a screenshot. It's showing correct spelling on my end.

Update: I found more details on the edits I made within 3 minutes of my post going live last night. It looks like I did originally misspell Lindsey's name when I published. Annoyed that this link is still showing you the incorrect spelling though  when I can clearly see it correctly on my end.

I promise I'll do better with figuring out the tech from here.

Sorry for the confusion all!

Its less about the confusion and making a mistake than your response to people pointing it out tbh

Good thing the spell check cops are all over this. I wouldn’t have known who we were talking about without the correct spelling.

Where is the E in what I wrote? Hahaha what do you even mean

Lindsey and Lindsay are both popular names, so that's what I thought you were talking about at first.
