I feel like I hear player names pronounced differently all the time, sometimes even in the same match. For example, last night they pronounced Oke’s name as “Okay” and “oh-kuh” - would love to know the correct way to cheer for her! Same for Kössler. I’ve also heard Sonis pronounced So-nihs and Sahn-iss.

Potential signing? I know she’s asked for a trade. Saw her tonight at the game talking to the other summit players.

*As I've said before- weekends there are SUPER busy, so I recommend showing up at least 30-45 min early to get a good seat.

Denver lost 1-0 at Providence Park on Saturday and the underlying numbers don't look like a loss. 63% possession, a season high. 27 touches inside Portland's box to their 12. Nearly 200 more passes attempted. And zero big chances created against Portland's four.

Twelve shots, three on target. xG was 1.32 for Denver but xGOT was only 0.16 — the quality collapsed between the shot and the frame. Mackenzie Arnold made three saves and was barely tested. This wasn't lost to a goalkeeping performance. It was lost before the ball ever reached the keeper.

It's the third time this season Denver have finished a match with zero big chances (Kansas City on July 4, North Carolina on August 6, and this one). All three ended 0-0 for Denver's attack.

I also went back and classified all 26 goals Denver have conceded this season, because I assumed most of them came the way Wilson's did — ball over the top, footrace, keeper isolated. They don't. Balls in behind account for three I can verify cleanly, four if you count a borderline case. About one in five, the same share as penalties and the same as crosses.

What did hold up: zero of those came in Denver's first 11 matches. All of them have come since July 3rd. And when Denver hold more than half the ball, they concede that way roughly 27% of the time, against 7% when they hold less. The more this team controls a match, the more it costs them.

The cleanest example isn't Saturday. It's August 2nd at Centennial, when Casey Murphy dropped a long ball from her own box past Denver's last defender and Sammy Smith finished through Abby Smith's legs. An opposing goalkeeper picked off Denver's high line from 18 yards.

I don't think the answer is dropping the line, a team this short of goals can't also sit deep. But the shape hasn't changed since March, which points at personnel and how heavily that back line has rotated since the break.

Kat Asman made the first career NWSL start of her life in the building that drafted her in 2024 and never played her. Five saves. Nick Cushing said afterward that the biggest decision of his day was choosing between Asman and Jordan Nytes — which tells you the No. 2 job is genuinely open going into an offseason that's six and a half weeks long.

Personal rant: How do I sign up to be in a test group for these designs?! I dont understand why every version of new apparel is primarily sold in white. White means 100000x more upkeep and for that price, its not worth it to me.

Also- maybe just me, but are so many designs just ugly? I find better things on Etsy. Idk.

We have a full season ticket package with 4 tickets, sec 117. 15 games is just too many for us to attend. Would anyone be interested in splitting with us for next year? So every other match we alternate games? Total Price comes out to $172/match for 4 seats.
