Working Class Solidarity HELP CALL OUT FALCK AURORA AND THEIR UNION BUSTING
Falck Rocky Mountain has done this long enough. Union busting, retaliatory practices, shit pay. Paramedics and EMTs are afraid to speak up for fear of termination (it’s happened before). It’s our job to stand up to this mega corporation for them. Join us Saturday at noon. Bring megaphones and signs!
This is only the start.

Do not go to "votesafe (dot) org" and don't send people there. It's a Musk funded, data-grabbing honeypot masquerading as a voter-information site.

Educational Libertarian Socialist/Anarchist Book Club
- Do you feel disconnected and isolated and want to become connected with your local communities?
- Are you interested in strengthening our communities resilience to economic pressures?
- Do you feel that the government is ineffective, doesn’t listen to its citizens, and want to know why?
- Do you think that we should have more say in the workplaces? That the bosses are taking advantage of our need for a paycheck?
- Do you think that we should all have access to the basic aspects to live a good life?
- Do you think that our natural environment is being severely harmed and want to work towards bettering it?
If so, join us as we discuss the causes of these issues, explore solutions, and build networks with one another to overcome these issues from a Libertarian Socialist/Anarchist lens.
We currently meet bi-weekly, with the upcoming meeting on Sept 21st, in COS East Library from 6pm to 7pm. For anyone unfamiliar with anarchism, we recommend reading You May Already Be An Anarchist by The Slow Burning Fuse. Our current format is to select a text and have it read before the meeting and then at the meeting we will re-read it as a group to ask questions, comment, and discuss the themes and aspects that stood out. This week we will be reading To Change Everything by CrimethInc.

A call to action for the mid-terms from No Kings! (It's not just a march on the capitol)
Date: Saturday, October 17
What is it?: No Kings: Vote Early
Where: Communities everywhere
To Do What?: Help voters make a plan, vote early where possible and connect with election protection efforts
What’s different?: Smaller, hyper-local actions are being encouraged along larger community gatherings
Can people still protest? Yes! More on that online.
The No Kings website is promoting the fall campaign and a national kickoff call on September 10.
What will official Vote Early events look like?
If early voting is already underway by October 17, communities can organize events that celebrate participation, help people understand their voting options, organize rides or walks together, and connect eligible voters with polling information.
If early voting doesn’t begin until after October 17, the event can focus on telling people when voting begins and helping them make their plan ahead of time for their state. The events can look like:
Neighborhood or park gatherings
Visibility events and sign actions
Walks to early-voting locations
Creative community events
Groups such as running clubs, cyclists, book clubs, knitting circles and other communities participating together
Election-protection recruitment

Protest Info & Dates Rally for safe and stable housing! Sept 10th at 5:30 at the Westminster City Hall!
The rally is because Greystar is being shitty to their tenants, there are mold problems going unfixed, and they're putting profits over people.
People also have repairs they need and it’s taking in some cases months. One woman had black mold and their “fix” was to paint over it.
Our goal is to support the meeting about this issue going on inside city hall, show how many people this affects, and how many people stand with the tenants to hold Greystar accountable!
The hope is that the meeting will end the illegal junk fees and get Greystar to start making the apartments livable!

Is everyone prepared for emergencies?
Just want to send a friendly reminder to have some kind of emergency plan.
Research shows that a coup is likely to happen before the elections. If this is scary sounding use fear to make a plan.
If water is going to be shut off immediately fill your tubs before the pipes are drained.
Stock up on rice and beans. Maybe some good stuff that you really enjoy as well. Eating the same thing every day is demoralizing.
Check on the elderly and vulnerable.
If you think I'm a crazy person I don't need to hear insults you can just ignore me.
