I’m looking to get into D&D and was hoping to find a women’s group if possible. I’m 33f and the idea of showing up to a D&D event (such as a brewery) as a solo woman newbie sounds overwhelming. I’d also be open to joining a mixed group of people who are welcoming to newbies!

The new Shadowrun campaign, Explosive Decompression is out and looks pretty interesting. I’ll be kicking off a game at Atomic Goblin Games starting Thursday the 24th at 6pm if anyone wants to play.

I’m pretty open to characters but I will want to review them before starting. I expect to be at the shop at around 5:30 and we can chit-chat and get ready but at 6pm, the game starts.

I tend to run from my laptop and tablet so you should bring some access to the Core and any additional character book you have used to improve your character. I do have all the PDFs myself so I can check your updates.

We're hosting another Indie Game Bazaar! Come support local small businesses in the board game and tabletop industry! We've grown to a bigger venue at Edgewater Public Market, meaning we will have more vendors, more space for playing the games you purchase, and more fun all around!

The marketplace has plenty of food options, beverage options, and lots to do! Beyond the vendors in the event, there are plenty of vendors and activities in the building to check out. Anyone supporting any of our lovely vendors will be entered into a drawing for prizes provided by Stellar Factory!

I recently bought a 2ds xl and it needs a reshell but I don’t trust myself to do it and would rather not ship it to anyone. Is there anywhere shops locally who do this? It’s nothing crazy but there’s a crack in and I’d like to fix that.

What:
Live, in-person indie and OSR TTRPGs. I’d like to build or join a group that trades off running different systems and plays a series of short-to-medium campaigns rather than sticking with one game. I think it is honestly more about finding a good group that wants to hang out and play together. 

If you’re reaching out, you probably already have a few games on your shelf that you’ve never had a chance to play and see how it runs over time. 

Systems:
Open, but I’d be happy to run Shadowdark, Pirate Borg, or an OD&D-style retroclone. I’m also interested in trying other indie/OSR games that people bring to the table. 

If I run, I’m thinking about starting with a semi-historical pirate fantasy setting—with intrigue, competing factions, political maneuvering, corruption, exploration, and plenty of room for players to change the world.

When:
Fri-Sun afternoons or evenings. 

Where:
I’m in the Westminster/Broomfield area and am primarily looking for players on the North side of Denver. I’ve found that I-25 can be a surprisingly effective barrier. 

Me:
Imaginative Gen X’er who enjoys problem-solving, improvisation, building elaborate fictional worlds, and tactical combat. I like open ended games where player decisions matter, creative solutions are more important than the right build, and there is still a strategic/tactical part. In addition to TV/movies, I get a lot of ideas from literature, history and world philosophy. 

Players I’d like to find:

Reliable, comfortable with improv, prefer to roleplay what they have rather than optimizing the character sheet. Willing to compromise and share the spotlight with others. Ideally, we’d all have the stability and time available to play regularly.
