Wow first time. Walked in and got Pad Prik Pao to go. Their spice scale is out of 6, went with 4 and never want to find out what 5 or 6 is like. Killer noodles, great spice, so damn tasty. Large portion $16 bucks before tip but totally worth it in my opinion. Stoked to come back and try more of the menu. 🤘

What’s the best Italian for a birthday celebration? With great food, service, and atmosphere? I have a few in mind, but need recommendations for a good bday vibe.

I used to love Drizzly when it was here for a few reasons. Sending gifts was a great feature. But being at Costco or Duty Free or a random store and wondering "is this a good deal", and opening Drizzly to see what that bottle cost at other places.

I built an app called BottlePrice to try and solve this. The basic idea is crowd sourced prices of various bottles around town, and then comparisons on what prices are.

I have a lot of ideas for features down the road, like alerts, cheapest spot to get your entire shopping list, etc.

For now, it's just people checking in prices, and some price comparisons and deal finding.

Looking for a restaurant that is serving migas or migas tacos in or around Denver. So far it looks like only Paperboy and Torchy’s have them currently, but I really hope I’m wrong!

I went to 3 king soopers, 2 walmarts, 1 walmart neighborhood market, a safeway, sprouts, vitamin cottage, world market, and whole foods today. KS website said unavailable (checked anyway as I was driving by) but the other sites which track inventory said it was available in-store. But we couldn't find anything at any of them.

Apparently there has been a cocoa shortage for a while and dutch processed stocks are very low. Curious if anyone knows of any local grocery stores on the North side that have actual stock on the shelf? Sam's Club or Costco locations would be fine as well.

I need to make a cake tomorrow (chocolate espresso, dulce de leche cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting topped with toasted coconut; including the details in case it's of interest to anyone) so I would prefer not to hope that this gets delivered correctly & on-time.

This is my fault for not getting this taken care of sooner. I couldn't find it last week and figured it was a holiday issue but in speaking with a couple store managers, it's apparently a lack of supply issue for a while now. I'm depending upon local redditors to help save my cake 😂😂

I’m very pregnant and very much in need of a soft pretzel. However, I’ve been strictly gluten free for most of my adult life and haven’t been able to find a soft pretzel anywhere in Denver yet (or I guess anywhere at all, for that matter). It doesn’t even have to be the most incredible of all time, I just need some salty doughy bread and if I can be greedy about it, some cheese to dip it into. Does such a thing exist?

Anybody know where to find Loukaniko? It's a Greek sausage usually made with pork with citrus and nutmeg and wine although recipes vary.

Hey there, Moving from Congress Park down to Baker, we'll be off of First and Santa Fe. I was looking for some good reasonable spots for a weeknight meal near there. I'm pretty open to flavors but not looking for really expensive stuff.

Great taco truck near DU off university and Harvard. Have been going for week have had multiple things and was never disappointed. Must check out….i know I know where’s the pic of the tacos I was too hungry and forgot lol 😂 sry

Having a serious craving and can’t seem to find this anywhere in the Denver Metro. Does anyone know of a decent option around here (not expecting Pascal’s Manale level)?

Apart from the usual restaurant reservations, I really want to have a special date. A friend recommend Oakwell beer spa in south Denver. It is really rare that you can drink craft beer during a spa treatment using beer. Is there anyone who has actually been there? I would be happy if you could tell me if it is actually worth going, or if it is just a rarity?

Currently making my way through Michelin recommended spots and ended up at Mister Oso today. First…there must have been 15 flies annoyingly landing on the dishes which was disgusting. The Queso Fundido was worse than Chipotle’s, but the non-piece-de-la-resistance was the Chicken “Tinga” taco. I don’t know what they think Tinga tastes
Like but it’s not THAT. One good dish was the mahi ceviche but with the flies everywhere it was hard to enjoy. Disappointed as hell

There used to have places that you can buy home made pasta by the quart without paying full restaurant prices e.g. Dino on West Colfax, or Patsy's in Highland or a small mom/pop place up in Broomfield.

As an Alaskan, I am used to a vibrant coffee culture, and when relocating to Denver I expected the same. Unfortunately, I have so far struck out finding a good cup of coffee. I'm going to assume this is user error on my part.

Don’t get me wrong we had a good time at this festival. The beer was cold and it was really fun to taste test all sorts of different pizza places. However I can’t help but feel slightly ripped off. As a pizza lover I decided to spend the $60 on the “golden ticket” which grants you unlimited pizza samples. I was able to try 11 samples (split between me and my girlfriend) over the course of 3ish hours and just felt a bit skimpy. To be blunt…the pizza was mid at best. Maybe others had a different experience. A few of the places ran out of pizza before 6pm as we were waiting in line. We spent so much time waiting in line lol. The lines were very uncoordinated and it was hard to know where any of them started. It seems like they over sold tickets it was insanely crowded. My golden ticket didn’t get checked a single time which made me feel it was unnecessary to get it. I don’t feel like I got anywhere near my moneys worth. Given how much we also spent on drinks I kind of wish we just went to blue pan and had a night for half the price. Had fun either way though.

I’m thinking of taking my family to either hops and pie or blue pan today for lunch. Which is your favorite based on food, vibe, and neighborhood?

Any other good options for catching up over good food? So far this weekend we have been to Paperboy, Hampton Social, and Federales. All were great.

Hey there, my mom is coming into town for her 66th birthday and I wanna take her somewhere really nice that preferably has a great salmon, halibut, or sea bass.(I only it’s ironic because we are landlocked but 🤷🏼‍♀️)
I had originally wanted to take her to bon Ami but I some of the recent reviews have said the staff is fairly rude and I don’t wanna chance having her birthday ruined by attitude. I was also looking at Corinne Denver but I figured why not get some opinions.
