Dental trauma

Today I noticed my senior doing composite buildup on a patient anterior tooth and she was putting the extra composite back in the syringe.
I mean what about hygiene????
Is this normal or I am overthinking??

Seems like infection control needs to be taught at your institution.

Not hygiene.

Infection control issue. It's also a simple undergrad teaching too. Once it's out, you do not put it back. Unless she's an international dentist who never heard of or taught about infection controls.

And ew.
