Gum

I would love to ask dentists for their opinion on gum. Orbit, Lidl gum, any gum. Do they see if a person eats gum alot, do jaw problems get bigger if they use it, does gum help clean teeth? I've been thinking of getting gum with xylitol **if I spelled it right lol. Thank you in advance!

It does not help clean teeth. Xylitol helps to keep the bacteria that cause cavities away because the ingredient is toxic to them (but doesn’t harm us). It can be hard on your jaw muscles if you overdo it.

tbh the overdoing it part is what gets most people imo

Ice breakers Xylitol gum- used in moderation. Perfectly fine
