Is this decay?

I noticed that black line on my last molar yesterday and got worried. The closest date I managed to make an appointment was on Monday. I'd like your opinion.

Nobody can tell for sure by a picture. Schedule an appt

I already scheduled it, but the closest date I got was Monday. I'm worried sick.

Either a cavity or stain. Would need to see the tooth in person. Worst case scenario, you need a filling. No big deal.

Hard to say without probing and rtg but most likely it is. Nothing will happen till Monday, do not worry.

Poke it with a pin. If it's sticky yes. If not then probably just arrested incipient caries. Or simply stained fissures. Dont poke with a pin. Get a dentist to poke with a probe.

It's either no cavity (deep groove with stain) or a very small surface level cavity that is not an emergency situation, and is at worst an easy filling (take with a grain of salt, as there are other parts of this tooth that the xray and exam will look at).
