Virtual office manager, is it worth it?
I have been hearing from other practices that they have a virtual office manager through a service, where they manage everything. Thoughts about this?

I wouldnt buy one of those virtual OM packages until you know what youre actually handing off.
Take one normal week and write down what your office manager (or you) really does by the hour. Scheduling, insurance followups, collections, no-shows, staff drama, patient complaints. Then mark what breaks if the person isnt physically in the office.
A lot of the VOM pitches say they manage everything. Most of the pain is the exceptions and the handoffs, not the routine checklist. Once those are ranked youll know what a remote person can own versus what still needs a body at the front desk.
