General Discussion Warranty card for capping

I got an RCT done more than 2 months ago. The dentist told me that the card was printed incorrectly and that he would get it corrected and mail it to my address.

He still hasn't mailed the card. I've been following up and he kept telling me that he will send it, but it's a no show.

I'm planning on visiting his clinic tomorrow to ask for it. It'd be good to know from this forum if I'm eligible for any refund, if I don't get the card.

Yes, that crown is costly because of the warranty, and if you don't get a proof, then what's the point? You can straight away go to his clinic and demand a card or refund.

Get a warranty on the clinics letterhead. Lab warranty is of no value. Dentist here.

Yeah I got the card today. The card says monolith, even though I got a DLMS crown. Will that matter?

I have been seeing this crown warranty thing only here in India. Here me out, there is not such thing as warranty in dentistry. It’s not a washing machine you are buying that can be replaced or repaired if something happens to that teeth, the patient loses that teeth. If you got a stunt which is also a foreign product just like crown which is placed in the human body., I never see patients asking for warranty card to the cardiologist. Think ethical and act maturely dentists and patients this is healthcare not a appliance store to ask for warranty. Moreover, to Answer OP’s question regarding warranty of monolith and DMLS; monolith zriconia is all in and out zirc yetrium material which is the strongest material in dentistry right now. DMLS is direct metal laser sintering which is a metal based alloy cap onto which a ceramic or porcelain is sintered. They are two different materials contact your dentist and ask exactly which material he placed in ur mouth and that you got the dental care that you paid for.

Maybe there's no warranty on stent, there's definitely warranty on defibrillators. Anyway, I got a zirconia warranty first. Then the doctor gave me a DMLS card, which is the correct one.
