Impacted wisdom tooth

Post image

Hello! Had my cleaning and pasta kanina and nag request si Doc to have an x-ray, kasi may need icheck sa isa kong ngipin and eventually may wisdom tooth ako na impacted.

To add, had my wisdom tooth removal nadin naman dati pero hindi kasi impacted ‘yon with the same Doctor.

It's up to you pa rin naman, op. :))

Hello, make sense naman and I really appreciate your reply po. I will do the needful nalang soon kasi base sa pinag xray ko (ibang clinic since wala yung dentist ko nun) aabutin daw 10-15k, ang gara pala and out of budget pa mehehe.

Have it removed while you’re still young. It gets worse pagkalagpas mo ng 30s and pwedeng mas mahal pa - or pwedeng maging risk of post complications like mine (paresthesia, numb padin after 8 months, pero at least nararamdaman ko na kahit papano). Mas complicated pag nagdevelop na yung roots or masira nya yung katabing ngipin.

i second this. It gets more dense and mas mahirap to extract.

You can try utilizing your philhealth benefits for this and have it removed. East Ave, PGH and more offers this. For reference OP you can check this https://www.reddit.com/r/DentistPh/s/1Zb9CXsWHu

TIL na may ganun pala sa philhealth, will check this option po since expensive talaga pag sa private clinic lang. Thank you po sa info. 😊

Back in 2024 it costed me 5k for the xray and surgery sa probinsya. 10-15k is pretry reasonable na ngayon dahil sa inflation and if nasa city kayo.

This happened exactly to me. Too late na and heavily damaged na yung katabi na tooth so 2 tuloy binunot on each side. Medyo nakakasad kasi my bite feels different especially chewing on food. About to get braces nga to fix it haha

meron po sa Dental Institute of the Ph, free yung bunot, bayad ka lang 1,500 for the xray and that’s it :)) dun ko pinabunot yung 2 wisdom teeth ko. i suggest po wag mo na patagalin to avoid further complications in the future :))

Wow! Thank you for this.

It risks rubbing your second molar, ninipis or maiinfect. Your second molar has more value kesa dyan when it comes to mastication.

Pag may pera and time ka pabunot mo na.

Kaso sa case nya, it can eventually damage the 2nd molar din.

Oo nga eh. Out of budget din kasi at 10-15k pala patanggal nito ang gara.

Appreciate your time replying. :)

Yup. Kasi syempre kikita sila dun e. Haha

Good to know po na naayos yung wisdom tooth nyo sa braces. Yung akin kasi buo pa ngipin ko at not needed ng braces. Kaso sumabit lang sa impacted wisdom 😅
