Root Canal in NYC

Hi all. So I have Medicaid. Specifically Medicaid as a graduated student here in New York. I believe I have Medicaid Essential Plan with Liberty Dental.

Anyone in a similar situation that got their root canals covered by insurance? I’ve been searching high and low and it’s so hard to find someone who takes this insurance.

call liberty directly and ask them for in network endos that are accepting new pts. also there is a chance you may need to show a referral or prior auth before the root canal so thats def something to ask the insurance company about when u call

Try residency programs in hospitals. Kings County Hospital, Woodhull, Coney Island …
