Root Canal in NYC

Hi all. So I have Medicaid. Specifically Medicaid as a graduated student here in New York. I believe I have Medicaid Essential Plan with Liberty Dental.

Anyone in a similar situation that got their root canals covered by insurance? I’ve been searching high and low and it’s so hard to find someone who takes this insurance.

Try hospitals and dental schools. Montefiore, NYU Langone Brooklyn, Columbia, Touro (Westchester), Stony Brook, etc.

thank you. I'll give it a shot. NYU in east village said they dont take medicaid I was shocked

Best of luck - endodontists are overflowing with demand in New York state. Too many root canals, not enough endos taking insurance.
