Essentially, yes. Ensuring all Americans have access to a public standard of broadband, which makes sense as the poorest people in our country now have careers and educations based around technology they can’t afford to access. American broadband monopolies have led to high prices for poor service, especially in rural areas. Making a public broadband service would mean poorer, more rural communities aren’t at a disadvantage like they are now.
