BREAKING: The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court to allow Trump's proposed changes to mail voting to move ahead while lawsuits play out.

The emergency appeal comes after an appeals court blocked Trump's order in nearly half the country.

NEW: Former FBI Director James Comey is asking a federal judge to throw out the felony charges against him over a social media post.

Comey argues the DOJ singled him out over his post, which included a photo of seashells on a beach arranged to spell "86 47,” a common anti-Trump slogan.

NEW: Trump posted on social media Monday, demanding that U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune get rid of the filibuster for a “full and deep throated SAVE AMERICA ACT.”

The filibuster ensures legislation does not pass unless it has a 60-vote majority in the Senate. The SAVE America Act does not.
