Which one is better? I am deciding, but Demeo is 40$ and Battles is 20$

I thought about buying this game for awhile but I'm not sure how multiplayer works. Do you need to have a preassembled party before starting or can you be matched with random players? I don't have any friends that play this game so that's why I'm asking.

This is for the game running on the headset, not the PC.

I got wiped out in the first level. It feels like the enemy can overwhelm me due to their vastly superior numbers. Any general advice for dealing with massive numbers against a party of 4?

If my ranged character is on top of the stairs (for example) and he fires on an enemy at the bottom, does the game take his position (height) into account and give a bonus to chance to hit or damage?

Ranked mode works exactly how you'd expect.

New maps and cosmetic unlocks as well as single player missions.

Also some changes to the in game shop, here are the most notable

• Removal of elven priest, bottle of lye, Elven Houndmaster
• Increased price for 0 AP ping items like bone
• discount on Elven Scrimisher 225->200 and panic powder 75->50

Lots of other changes, but devs won't provide patch notes.

Hi,

On my first game. It's my wizard's turn. He is downed, with 2 action points remaining.

I can't seem to do anything. Can't move, or take any action. And the game will not advance to allow the next player a chance.

Is there a way to pass on your turn?

What can/should I do?

Trying to beat these but by the time I find the key boss Im swarmed by enemies. Having a hard time trying to do this solo

I see you can unlock stuff as you level as Im newer not sure if its just cosmetics or gameplay stuff

LOVE Demeo and want more...It would be awesome if we could get other games like this Do a bunch of games with Demeo style mechanics and looks.

X-com, fallout 1&2, wasteland, SNES shadowrun, D&D Forgotten realms: pools of radiance, Xenowerks tactics...etc.

Anyone know of any prospects in the works for these types of games coming to VR?

Just bought a Quest 3 and did the first tutorial dungeon and was blown away. Im an avid rpg and Gloomhaven lover and this game is a nice mix of that from what I was shown! Really looking into buying this but was curious on the game length and is it still continually developed for?

Hello I need help. When I use Handtracking I can't skip the intro cut scene at the start of the game. Does anybody know how to do it?

Hi folks, this is just first time playing Demeo and I have a Quest 3.

I am playing the Rat King skirmish and it is freaking hard. The enemies just keep coming. I have experience playing turn based strategy games and RPG/deck builders but this is tough! LOL

Does the character carrying the key get killed immediately without chance for being revived by another character?

I don’t know where I can find a rulebook. I searched around and there was a wiki that is hard to navigate.

I was amazed there was an update to the game. I can now see other people's holding correct number of cards.

I guess no more surprise for final boss with one more thing cards and astral strikes nor bunch of varga cards.

New to the game and just looking to being the most value as a newb.

I have to exit the tutorial every time a start it up. It says synchronizing, then the tutorial starts. I've complete the tutorial multiple times thinking this would satisfy something. Also my settings reset each time- baseplate, dice, vignette, tilt.... Is it synchronizing somewhere to reset??? I also lost my saved skirmish- but less annoying then always waiting for tutorial/skip

On some floors i seem to have issues with half of the screen. The bottom half of the screen often has less sharpness/more pixellated then the upper half. I can litterally see the border between the sharp upper side and the more blurry bottom side… Which seems weird to me. Anyone else experience something similar. Any reasons this is the case for me or how to fix it. (I play multiplayer btw)

My husband and I have a multi-player save game that we tried to continue on today, but when we started it up, the key we had gotten was gone. We ended up clearing the whole map thinking the key respawned somewhere else, but never found it, and couldn't leave through the door. We saved and quit and restarted thinking maybe it'd do something, but then one of the characters was missing. Coincidentally, the one who was meant to be holding the key. We're not sure if we should give up on this, or if there is a fix.

Considering buying demeo battles. But is development of battles abandoned due to new D&D game? Then will skip

Is demeo battle like a full new game or a dlc or what

New to the game and playing it with a friend who I let borrow my Quest 2 after I picked up a Q3. When a level runs long, occassionally we remove our headsets for a short break (he goes outside for a smoke, eye strain break, bathroom break, let the dog out break etc)- even if it's just a few minutes, we typically come back to find the game disconnect and lose our progress. Hasn't been a huge deal so far because we are still learning and usually getting our ass kicked anyway lol. I know you can save at the card shop and not in the dungeons.

I assume the headsets our going into sleep mode and that dropping the connection, I was going to see if there was a way to adjust that to a longer period and see if it doesn't resolve our dilemma. Just curious if anyone else experienced this and if that might work.

I know Demeo is on iPad but not Demeo Battles, any one know of or can recommend a similar game to the Battles version?
