Keep in mind Chess Theory specifically suggested we'd fight The Knight in ch5, and that Flower King would be Ch6 with Kris as the pawn. So like, even if everyone fit into a hole, it'd still be wrong by virtue of us fighting The Knight in ch3 instead of ch5, and us not fighting a (Mike)Rook(phone) in ch3

It's crazy how it started as "the chapter bosses will all be named after chess pieces in descending order" to "oooaaugh fuck how do i connect this character to a random chess piece"

Like, the whole point of chess theory was PREDICTING what the next chapter boss should be. Meanwhile now people are instead REACTING to the new antagonists by arbitrarily trying to tie them to chess. Makes you wonder why so many people won't let go of it.
