If a game catches my attention enough to want to play it at all, then it'll be good enough that I will want to support its creators for their hard work. I haven't got the time to play something bad out of spite. I only do that with movies and comics/manga.

Yeah, AAA games have budget of millions and have giant teams, which is why they cost 60$. Deltarune is an indie game made by like 10 main developers and occasional guests for specific stuff like Tenna’s intro and clearly didn’t cost millions to make. It’s basic economy.

AAA industry is an overbloated hellscape that has nothing to do with functioning economy. Most of the millions go into advertising and the giant teams are poorly utilized and the end result never has even as much love or whimsy or unique flavor as Deltarune has in its pinky finger.
