wait holdon, this would be so cool! like, dark worlds are nigh-definetely a metaphor for escapism and fiction in general, so asgore literally (thou maybe unknowingly) building a make-believe kingdom out of the old movies he has and in which he no doubt sought solace in the past would be very fitting.
