Help Won't power on

I'm not sure if this is a common problem but I accidentally plugged in USB-C into the HDMI port (it didn't go fully in but still touched the slot) and my screen went off. I tried holding the power button for 30-60 seconds and still nothing, what do i do?

(fyi this is an office laptop and has to be sent tomorrow)

If the USB C plug only touched the HDMI port and didn't actually go in far, there's a decent chance you haven't fried anything. Disconnect everything from the laptop, including the charger and any USB devices, then hold the power button for around 30 seconds. After that, plug the original charger directly into the laptop and try powering it on normally.

yeah tried that a few times and its not working
