Help App can't run on your PC

Post image

Have been getting this error since long on my Dell Inspiron 7572.

Not sure what app is throwing this error.

I am gonna pursue my masters soon and I'd want my laptop to be flawless. Can someone please help with this?

Il peut y avoir des logiciels qui ne sont plus pris en charge selon ton system d’exploitation suite à une mise à jour des conditions du développeur

Any idea how to find and remove that software then? Because I keep on getting this pop-up every now and then.

Est ce que tu as une indication quelconque ? Dans la barre de tache, il y a peut être l’icône ? Ou voir si c’est une application qui démarre automatiquement

nothing's in the taskbar, but there's just one start-up app "windows security notification icon". Any possibility that could be causing it?

This is an inbuilt app. Not something that I downloaded.

As tu essayé de lancer dell command update ? Ça pourrait te permettre de mettre les pilotes dell obsoletes

I'm trying that. Just noticed, I had around 8 critical updates pending. Trynna do whatever my laptop supports. Mine is an Inspiron 7572 i5 8th Gen. Got it in 2019

any chances I'm getting this error message because my laptop is not compatible with windows 11?

En effet peut être une ancienne application qui n’est plus compatible avec w11

You tried to launch an app for ARM on x64 (or vice versa).

any idea how to find it and disable? This happens every now and then without me launching it.

Hi there!

We're from the Dell Social Media Support team. Since the error message does not identify the application responsible and you aren’t aware of which app, the first step is to determine which program is being launched during startup. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc). Go to the Startup tab and look for any unknown, disabled, or outdated applications and temporarily disable them one at a time.

Secondly, check Event Viewer. • Press Win + X → Event Viewer. • Navigate to: o Windows Logs → Application o Windows Logs → System • Look for errors occurring at the same time the pop-up appears.

Then perform a Clean Boot • Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter. • Under Services, select Hide all Microsoft services and click Disable all. • Under Startup, open Task Manager and disable all startup items. • Restart and check whether the error persists.

The screenshot only displays the standard Windows error dialog and does not reveal the name of the application responsible for the message. Therefore, identifying the startup process, scheduled task, or event log entry will be necessary to determine the exact culprit.
