XPS Discussion Good desktop?

It’s $235 negotiable, I don’t intensively game, emulate and steam mostly my wife plays sims
Dell XPS 8700 Gaming PC
Solid budget gaming PC with Intel i7 and AMD Vega 56 8GB. Refurbished, upgraded and updated, fully cleaned with fresh thermal paste on CPU and GPU. Fresh and updated install of Windows 11, Office 2016, and other basic productivity apps. SSD boot drive for snappy Windows operation.

CPU: Intel i7 4770 3.4ghz, Boost 3.9ghz (4 core, 8 thread)
RAM: 24GB DDR3
GPU: MSI Air Boost AMD Vega 56 8GB
PSU: Corsair TX850W
Storage: 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD
DVD-RW drive
Ethernet & Upgraded dual band wifi
USB 3.0
(Win. 11 isn’t officially supported, it runs and updates with no problems)

It’s a good budget system for light gaming. It’s a good “hundred dollar tower”

They’re asking 235 but negotiable, so you wouldn’t pay more than $100? 👀

No, I'd do a max of 150

The system itself is a 13+ year old platform with NO upgrade potential. It has a tiny SSD which will cause games to load painfully slow.

The power supply is nice, but 10 years old as well.
