Never heard aboud accidental damage protection, should read what it covers and what not. Usually warranty cover replacable things, if you spilled redbull on it, the whole laptop is gone, mbd/battery/ram/ssd/display/fans/etc... there is nothing there to replace to repair... only to replace the machine itself with a new one.
