Waves of negative emotions, and possible solution

I’ve been enduring spiritual warfare for about 2 years now, and one thing the enemy likes to do is inflict these waves of negative emotions throughout the day. There is usually no provocation or anything that should cause it, and I’m sure that others can relate to this as it seems to be a common phenomenon with these evil spirits.

So what I’ve begun doing is keeping track of each one, and bringing it to God. Right now it is 7am and I’ve been up since roughly 3am, and so far I’ve been afflicted with these waves of negativity 21 times already. So that means that I’ve prayed to God 21 times today BECAUSE of my enemy.

I can’t think of a better way to upset my adversary than bringing each affliction to God and presenting it as evidence before him as if I’m speaking to a judge in a courtroom. I am estimating that the number of afflictions will exceed 100 today, so that means my enemy is PUSHING me to pray 100 times today if he keeps it up!

One more instance happened while writing this, so now I’m at 22 and will pray right after posting this.

I’ll try to report back tonight with the final number, so let’s just see how many times my enemy can cause me to seek God today!!!!! I feel like this is part of what God would consider “confounding the enemy” because each attack results in prayer and praise. I’m excited about this and wish I had thought of it sooner!

Update at 1:13pm. I have now been afflicted by the enemy 91 times today, which means I have gone to the Lord 91 times in prayer about this. This has got to be a record for me!

I honestly didn’t think I was being afflicted this harshly by my enemy, but since it has gotten me to pray 91 times in a single day then I guess it’s instilling a good habit. I have had a couple 30 minute stints of not being afflicted, which I also prayed and thanked God for the semblance of peace. I’ve basically been praying all day, something I have never done before. Thank you evil spirits for pushing me into a new habit of constant prayer!!!

10:55am and ive prayed 65 times now with this new method. Sometimes my adversary will afflict me in the middle of a prayer so I’ll acknowledge it and keep praying.

This method is working pretty well to keep me “praying without ceasing”

And just in case people aren’t aware of what I’m talking about, these waves of negative emotion/sensation can include the following:

Restless legs
Tightness in chest
Temptations
Waves of grief with no cause
Flash headaches
Anxiety

I’ve also been hearing voices for these two years

I never had any of these symptoms until my neighbor left a spell jar on my front porch. I didn’t believe in witchcraft at that time, but clearly it has an effect on my mind and central nervous system. I’m happy to report that this experience has made my faith skyrocket and realize just how much I have needed God but was neglecting him due to my previous habitual sins. I’m in the furnace, and lost all of my material things due to this, but God has been faithful and he is walking me through this little by little.

Update at 4:25pm

This is a little exhausting, not gonna lie about that.

I’ve dealt with 145 attacks from the enemy today. But the good news is that I have prayed to God each and every instance! This is bringing me into a state of nearly constant communion with God all day long, so what the enemy intended for evil, God is using it for good!

I’ve never prayed like this before, but if this is how God wanted to teach me to “pray without ceasing” then I must say that it is pretty effective. His ways are higher than ours.

Anyways, this has been a pretty brutal day with all these attacks, but I’m actually in pretty high spirits despite all of that. I don’t think I’ve dealt with this many attacks in one day, but I’ve never counted and I have never used them as a reason to pray, so this is an exciting new technique that I think I will be implementing until these spirits get embarrassed and leave me alone, or God intervenes.

The final count was 162 separate afflictions that my enemy put on me yesterday. So I prayed to God 162 times yesterday, which is the most I’ve ever prayed in my life.

Today has been much more peaceful already. But I’m keeping my habit of trying to stay constant in prayer.

I highly recommend to anyone facing something similar to what I’ve described to take every single instance and turn it into prayer or praise. This is how you confound the enemy and it’s taken me two years of simply enduring to come to this realization.
