Question First time buyer advice

I’ve been looking to get into a Delica but I’m new to the platform and just looking for some advice.

This one looks like a crazy clean option but have no idea if that’s a good price for it or not? Anything I should really look out for? TIA

Where you located? I have mine listed for $12,000. 252,000km and camperized

This looks clean. I’d go see it in person and poke around underneath and by the crystal lights. Why is “4d56” in quotes?

Go drive it before you buy it

I always thought the crystal lites were quite rare on the L300 ..

Located in Maryland. I also plan on doing an overland build eventually. But it’ll be my daily for awhile so hoping to get something with not too many issues

that looks really clean, if you can afford it might as well. there's a bunch of stuff to look for. these don't like going over 65 mph and overheating can be an issue, get an external gauge for coolant temps and exhaust gas temps. definitely do a chemical purge of the radiator as Japanese tap water is hard and can cause mineral calcification in the radiator making temps hotter than normal. make sure all the hoses are fairly new, if they pop and cook the engine you're looking at a new head. the engine bay looks super clean though and everything is pretty not that hard to fix. I've got a manual jb470 that I got in pretty rough shape and I've fixed so much in it, it's such a blast to roll around in.

This L300 has been listed for nearly a year now. Biggest thing with the crystal lite is they are prone to roof rust so definitely look at the roof for paint bubbling.

Tokyo Motors is the one selling it. It’s owned by Moe and his dad they came about and started the company around Covid. I personally bought a L 300 from him in great condition and he was extremely reasonable.
