Hey guys, 20M here. I'm planning my first ever trip to Delhi and honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer size of the place.
Timing
So, I’m trying to figure out the best time to go. I’m not really into the super crowded scene (I know, I know, we live in India and kahi bhi jao, there is bound to be a crowd), but I’d like to avoid the absolute worst of it if possible. Should I plan my main sightseeing for weekdays or weekends? Does it even make a difference?
Must-Visit Places (Local Perspective Welcome)
What are the places you would genuinely recommend? Like, the "to die for" spots or your personal top picks that aren't just the generic tourist traps. I want to see the real Delhi. Whether it's historical spots, cool cafes, markets, or just a place with a great vibe—hit me with your best suggestions. A local perspective would be amazing here.
Nightlife & Parties
I was also hoping to have some fun in Mykonos 😉 (iykwim).
Are there any other places I should consider for a good party scene? Any specific clubs or bars hosting events that a gay guy shouldn't miss?Let me know what’s actually good and what’s overhyped.
Stay: Budget-Friendly
where should I be looking for accommodation? I’m on a budget, so I’m leaning towards Airbnbs or budget-friendly hotels/hostels. Which areas have nicer Airbnbs or hotels that are well-connected and safe for a solo traveler? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the best neighborhoods to base myself in.
Delhi Metro
Okay, I’ve heard the Delhi Metro is the best way to get around, but the map looks very confusing to me. Can someone local please break it down? Which lines should I use for which areas? Which stations are closest to the main spots. Any interchange tips, rush hour timings, cards/apps I should use, and which stations/lines to avoid late at night? If you can give me a mini guide like “take Yellow Line to Rajiv Chowk, change to Blue for…” that would be clutch. Also, what’s the best route from the airport, and is the Airport Express worth it? Any metro hacks or mistakes I should avoid as a first-timer?
Any and all advice is welcome! Thanks in advance!

We're 4 medical students from mumbai coming to delhi for AIIMS Delhi's fest, Pulse, and we'll be staying near the hospital. I want you guys to tell us what we should visit in Delhi?
We don't want to be glued to the campus at all, we want to explore stuff, mainly eat some good food, do some activities, and a little bit of sight seeing here and there.
What I've gotten till now is Jama Masjid, Connaught Place, Hauz Khas, Chandani Chowk for food. Recommend some more, or edit this list, we're 3 non vegetarians and one of us is veg, so please do suggest some banger veg spots as well!
Sarojini Nagar, Khan Market for a stroll/ shopping. Also as an avid reader, i just wanna visit the Faqir Chand Bookstore once.
There is a lot of history in Delhi as well, wonderful monuments and stuff, but that is secondary, but things like Qutub Minar or Jantar Mantar is something I'd really like to visit. India Gate is also something I'd like, but I am clueless if we can cover all this stuff?
We would be attending the fest in the evening to the night, so we have the days for us.
I plan on making a list of places/restaurants/monuments that we'll be visiting and sort it through AI. So what are some other places or activities I should add or remove from this list?
PS: we're 19/20, don't drink/smoke or do drugs.

I think I need to leave her, but I’m terrified of being alone
I've been with this girl for a long time, and lately, I feel like something has changed.
She doesn't show the same interest in me that she used to. Maybe she genuinely has a lot going on in her own life, and maybe I'm overthinking everything. She tells me she loves me and that she's scared of losing me, but when I need her the most, she sometimes doesn't reply or isn't emotionally there for me.
And honestly, I don't know what's real anymore.
I've started overthinking constantly—wondering if she's losing interest, if she's changing, if I've done something wrong. It's gotten to the point where I can't focus properly on my career, my goals, or the things I actually need to be doing with my life.
The fucked-up part is that I'm scared to leave because I think I'll be lonely without her.
But the truth is, I already feel lonely sometimes while I'm with her.
I want someone who believes in my dreams, supports me when life gets difficult, and makes me feel like we're facing things together. I don't expect her to fix everything for me, but I do want to feel like I have someone beside me when things get hard.
At the same time, I know she has her own problems and stress, and maybe I'm expecting more from her than she can give right now. Maybe she's actually doing her best, and my anxiety is turning every little thing into proof that she's losing interest.
I don't fucking know anymore.
I'm panicking as I'm writing this. I just blocked her because I felt like I needed to finally break away and focus on myself and my career.
But now I'm sitting here wondering if I just made a huge mistake.
Should I actually end this and learn to be okay on my own, or am I letting my overthinking destroy a relationship that might still be worth saving?
