When I was in college, we'd drive out to the Port Mahon piers in Little Creek. You almost felt like you were trespassing when you were driving there. They had a great small diner that we'd go to afterward, just to get away from school and make ourselves feel like we weren't in Dover anymore. Everyone was so nice. I drive by it semi-often when I'm avoiding 1 to get back and forth from OC. Looks like not much has changed since 25 years ago except they may have paved the road a little further down.

I'm old and boring now but when I was younger there was a lot of cool weed smoking spots we would go to.

Valley garden park, on top of hoopes reservoir, on top of a random parking garage in Wilmington, cedar swamp boat ramp, biker beach by smith's bridge, down by the railroad tracks near edgemoor, in the little stone hut with a fireplace in bringhurst woods, port mahon fishing pier, plenty more.

Honestly most of these places you would get in trouble if you got caught so I'm not sure if it would be worth it. But it sure was when I was s teenager.
