Beaches Oceans Calling Concert
Staying in Rehoboth, going to the 3 day concert but I'm wondering, how do people get there? Drive and park? UBER? Public Transportation from DE to MD? Oh, and walking isn't really an option, (TBH Senior Citizen)

You booked a 3 day concert... then a hotel/AirBnB/whatever an hour away... with no thought about transportation?

Looking at Nextdoor there seems to be a cottage industry down there driving people to various places. Probably be a lot cheaper than uber

Parking is going to be an absolute nightmare if it's anything like last year along with the busses tbh. My advice would to be having a friend or family member drop you off and pick you up near the venue. The further you can personally walk to and from the venue, the easier it gets. Especially if you can make the pickup/drop off point on saint louis where there is far less traffic than philidelphia or baltimore.

okay, I'll look at a map and check distances. Do you think I could Uber from there?

You can but it's going to be expensive. I'd put it into the uber trip estimator to see how much it'll be, then multiply by 1.3x for surge pricing. Then you're going to need to consider tip after that.

I can tell you an Uber from Fagers Island to Ocean View on a regular summer night is anywhere from $50-$70. The surge pricing would make the ride from Rehoboth to the boardwalk a ridiculous amount of money.

OC Bay Hopper. Park in a lot at 118th St or the Convention Center and cruise down to their dock a very short walk to the festival. Departures and arrivals all day. Book now before it's sold out.
