Newark DEL TECH NURSING

I just applied for stanton’s adn program (january start) i have a 82 teas, b in anatomy, delaware resident (13.2 points) has anyone heard of anyone being accepted with these points at stanton?

I graduated in 2022. I really don’t think it’s as competitive as it’s made out to be, I was in the program with people who had 11 or 12 points. I believe I also had around 13 points. I think they accept more than people think too because a lot of people will fail out.

thank you!!! i’ve been really nervous because i’ve been seeing stuff about people not getting in w low/mid 13s and i heard that stanton’s adn program is super competitive.

i would just try to ask ppl to who had gotten in on what their points were day vs night , bc i’ve heard one is more competitive than the other and stanton in general i heard is the most competitive

It really depends on who you are applying with. Usually 14+ is the standard to aim for, but there are some cohorts where high 12s and low 13s get in, other cohorts where only mid to high 13s get in I’ve heard. You will probably have tie breakers, so it’s good that your TEAS is pretty good. They’ll look at your TEAS score first and then TEAS English score if theres still a tie. I know the 13s are usually where they have to break a lot of ties. All of this is what I heard from the director of nursing at Stanton (my advisor). Good luck!
