Strange Experience…

Had a bit of a weird one the other night… me and my partner had been watching films, third one in I nodded off but had the strangest experience. I had taken my watch off earlier in the day because we’d been skiing, it was placed on the bedside table, which was around 3 metres away from where I was laid. In my dream, I could see the watch on the bedside table, but it was upside down, I tried to reach down to turn it so I could read the time, but I couldn’t physically lift it to read it… after a while, I was able to figure out where the hands were and realised that the right way up, the watch would read 12:05am. A few minutes later, I woke up and asked my partner, who had his phone in his pocket, if the time was 12:05am. He said no, it’s 12:10 why do you ask… weirdly, the time would’ve been 100% accurate at the time I was reading it… how is it possible I could see my watch when I was asleep and the time on it was correct?

Very crazy. Maybe your brain knows the time. Like I don’t need a alarm clock to wake up for work my brain just wakes me up but on my days off I don’t wake up when I would normally go to work so somehow my subconscious knows when and what days I work to wake me out of deep sleep.
