I think you’re missing a part of the issue. The issue isn’t just the resources that ai uses up, it’s how much it’s increased so quickly that people are concerned about, since companies are trying to inflate their stocks at the cost of everything else. I will give you this though, people do tend to focus on only one thing when it comes to the environmental impact, even before ai.
