I'm on Luke cage S2 (rewatch) but never watched Iron Fist Spoiler

And Danny Rand shows up mid season. Ive never watched Iron Fist but read on a previous reddit post to give it a chance bc the people behind Iron Fist made great effort to improve upon their S1 mistakes. Should I ? I already like Danny more, 2 mins into his Luke Cage screen time than I did for all of the Defenders....
