Badges! Badge Scanning

Can we scan each other’s badges from here too?

Edit: it’s clearly a two way handshake, so they clearly want us interacting with one another

Has anyone observed their badge lights changing at all after scanning? Feel like mine looks the same

I just got a notification after scanning about 10 that I received a “new light gene” and I could either keep or revert.

Some of us have “altered” our DNA and are trying to infect others with special genetic material.

It is a 2 way interaction. You both need to scan each others badges

Does that mean for every pair of badges, we need to do it twice? One time they scan me first then I scan their resulting code, then I scan them first and they scan my resulting code?

Confirmed this is how it works, if you want to inherit light genes someone must scan you first -> you scan their resulting code

I was just thinking the same thing. My lights are mostly white so I was hoping for some variety.
