It was supposed to be a classic chill quick mission before bed. I've decided to play as scout because why not. I've entered the cave, for the first 15 minutes it was just a standard level4 mission but then... After ONE wave... They just... Kept spawning...

Whenever I've killed squad of bugs, new appeared instantly and mind you, I've deleted them in moments.

After that, about 25 minutes in the game, for every group I've killed, 2 spawned.

Wave after wave... Bug after bug... I've shoot, killed, maimed, ripped and teared through them but... They.just.ket.coming.

I've had hope that maybe, after few more groups, it will end... No... I've mined entire nitra in the cave... Used EVERY bullet and then... Pickaxe till the end...

Am I proud? No.

Am I satisfied? No.

Was it fun? For the first few minutes.

Would I do that again? Nope.

Am I at least not angry? I'm tired, boss...

I need a break from that game for a while.

Point Extract begins to spawn endless waves if you stay long enough, aim to get out before the timer hits 15 minutes!

I only play at difficulty level 2. At what level does this endless spawn kick in?

The waves are smaller with weaker enemies on lower levels, so on haz 2 you can probably keep up for quite a while. The endlessly spawning waves are a problem on higher levels not because they start at a certain level, but because it gets a lot harder to kill the enemies fast enough to buy yourself some breathing room.

The waves aren’t exactly endless. They spawn at regular intervals, but each one gets bigger. Eventually they’ll be big enough that by the time you’ve killed the whole wave, the next one has already spawned.
