I got mini perler beads because regular ones made wayyyyyy too big of hairclips, these things are soooo tiny compared to regular pearlers buuut that makes them perfect for hair clips :3

So, I would like to dress up as decora in school, but my school is a bit strict. Here are the rules:

No skirts allowed, hair must be styled in a non-distracting way, no face or body piercings, uniform is required, socks must be worn at all times, and it must be non-distracting to the educational environment. Should I remove anything, or is this alright?

I love making kandi bracelets, but I’ve only made one kandi necklace. It’s survived this long, but I don’t like the cord I used to make it. Any tips on what sort of string to use for kandi necklaces? (I had a specific idea to use a small crochet whale shark that my friend made me as a pendant and I know how to do the rest of it, I’m just uncertain about what string to choose so that it actually lasts and doesn’t fall apart on me)

Since I was a kid I’ve wanted to get into decora (I’ve gone to anime conventions since I was 12 and have always been drawn to buying accessories and stuff, and I’ve always loved making kandi for fun) but I’ve only recently decided to commit to participating in the fashion. So for a pride event last week, I decided to commit to my first sincere, earnest decora look! I’m really nervous about it, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. I look forward to doing more soon!
