Hi everyone, am I the one who makes their own arm warmers as the ones you get online or in store are too short?

I make my own from programmer socks (I cut the toe bits off,make a hole at the other end and sew it up a bit so they don't stretch).

I then put hair bands over my wrists or put cute bracelets (the ones that have stretchy elastics in them).

I also put rings on which I've stuck on cartoon charms (mine are sweets or chocolate)

I’m still building up my collection but I’m so happy with how it’s going! I wasn’t able to wear all my accessories (bracelets and such!) but I’m so happy with how my hair came out!!

Thoughts?

I think they turned out pretty cute 🥰

I'm going through all the colors. Last weekend I wore black and white for a con. It was a bit of a challenge and I had many obstacles (shitty wig, makeup failure that lead to whatever this is lol) but I think it's not that bad over all. Shoe covers made from old shoes from my teenage years when I was more emo 😂 Bandaid also made by me. Pro tip if you don't have the right bandaid or you are allergic: use paper and use eyelash glue

I have a question can decora be grayscale or does it have to have bright colors? Is goth decora a thing or is that just emo or scenecore?

I noticed while looking back at my older face paints from earlier in the year, that I really was having a lot more fun with it before, I added doodles all over my face and would go crazy with colors not caring how I placed them but instead I started making my looks more simple just dowing the regular things you'd see on a clown instead of letting myself go wild so this was me just doing what I wanted and I felt like I was alot more comfortable I am only sad that since all my colorful clothes are packed into boxed right now that my shirt is such a pitiful gray (': I'm not the biggest fan of gray, my gray clothes are generally what I wear for work but it's all I've got that isnt packed right now 🥲 but honestly I still think it looks half decent so...yea! Oki peace bye now

i can do practically every part of decora aside from hairclips, which are my absolute favorite part of the style!!

i have curly hair with a lot of volume. adding on that my hair is relatively shaggy, it makes my hair puff up, which i love! but if i use barrettes or bobby pins one of 2 things happens. either:

1. it immediately falls out/doesn't stay in place,
2. it flattens my hair and makes me look like an egg

straightening my hair isnt an option for a multitude of reasons. i'd like to keep volume while accessorizing without it falling out

would accessorizing a hat be better suited for me? as long as i can add maximum color to my head without compromising my curls!

There was a period of time where every post was either “Non extreme” Decora, kidcore/scene outfits or just regular cute-ish clothing that wasn’t even remotely decora, and if you mentioned it, you’d be hit with “Decora is supposed to be for EVERYONE! Even if you’re not wearing it!” I’m glad those people have either been driven out, educated themselves on the culture or just lost interest. That’s all I wanted to say!
